Abstract
In March 2024, Indonesia's poverty rate decreased to 12.41%, a drop of 0.99 percentage points from March 2023. The number of poor people also declined by 3.12 thousand, reaching 42.94 thousand individuals. However, the Poverty Line rose to IDR 439,192 per capita/month, an increase of IDR 22,377 compared to March 2023. The Poverty Line has consistently increased since March 2020, with a total rise of IDR 81,131 per capita/month. The Poverty Depth Index (P1) and Poverty Severity Index (P2) improved, falling to 1.78 and 0.38 respectively, indicating better poverty conditions.
